    As salaamu alaykum,

I have been trying to get information for registration and enrolment for a long time now. Recently Abu Taubah replied to me with instructions, which I followed. I still have been unable to register or enroll and my questions about class times remain unanswered. It seems that my emails are not getting through. I know that you have been experiencing problems. Here’s hoping that this reaches you.

There will be an occasional book cost. But the course is designed to be affordable. That is why it is only 35$ a month. Please do not let cost stop you. If there is a problem with costs contact miss Umm Haajar and she will try to get someone to sponsor the books for you.

May Allah reward and bless you and all Allah’s sincere Muslims working to uplift the Prophet’s Ummah and reignite the torch and light of Imaan in its soul, so that this sleeping giant mass of Muslims can soon awake, unite upon truth and stand up; to give the world the only true cure to its current plague, to return to its original nature of belief in and submission to Allah and place His word over its lusts and His law over its limited and perverted logic! May Allah continue to bless you all and our beloved brother and role model Abu Tawbah in your appraised efforts to contribute to the fulfillment of this noble, honorable goal and make us all from His Ansaar! Ameen!

Asalaam Aleikum, Masha’Allah I just seen the videos on youtube with regards to learning arabic. I’m a revert and althought I’ve accepted Islam a few years ago I’ve only been very motivated to learn arabic recently. With that said, I would like more information about learning arabic with your organization i.e. cost, flexibility with regards to the classroom format (online, in person, etc), as well as flexibility if there is only in person classes as I am a high school teacher and could stay where your located for a couple months in the summer, that is if there are courses in the time span. Please let me know at your earliest convenience. Jazak’Allah Khair.

  18. Umm Abdurrazzaq says:

    Walaikum assalamu wa rahmatullah Qylah

I second that motion! I am in the ultimate arabic course 2j (2nd semester) and I am also loving the course masha’allah. I currently live in Egypt and have lived here for 6 years and have taking arabic class from the arabic speaking natives here but I’ve never gotten what i’ve gotten from taking this course and the praise and thanks is for Allah alone. I have learnt so much in only 2 semesters and we are only half way into the 2nd semester so far masha’allah. I recommend these courses for anybody but subhan’allah they are no joke! These courses are for the ones who have the drive, determination and diligence to learn the language of the Quran. The teacher expects much from his students and will push them to do well showing some mercy ofcourse…lol. I hope to be able to continue on and complete all 8 semesters bi ith nillah.

And for those who were taking the course but were not able to continue for what ever reasons, I give you sincere advice from your sister in Islam, don’t give up the fight. Because for sure it is a fight and a struggle for many to do what so few have done and that is to master this language. Maybe you may have felt the stress of memorizing a lot of material or have had your brain fried with studying for tests but these are small matters compared to what our forefathers had to go through to seek knowlegde. Many travelled by foot and rode animals across land and seas to find a shiekh to study with. And because of there determination Allah made their path of seeking knowlegde easy for them and the same can happen for us. I mean…how much easier can it be, studying in the comforts of your home, probably eating and drinking during class …lol, having the classes recorded for us to be able to review. I say to myself first and then to all of my brothers and sisters in islam, wheather you study from the fiks or from others teachers, just don’t give up the fight. I think we have developed a nice small family here and we can be a support and comfort for one another.

I ask Allah to purify our intentions, keep our hearts firm along this bumpy road of seeking knowlegde, make it easy for us and allow us to reach our destination of good…ameen.

MAy Alalh make it easy on all the students of MY FIKS to succesfully complete & be on the path of a ‘Sincere Talibul Ilm’ till the end with sincere intentions off-course!…. Ameen
barakallahu feekum at thefiks & my class family.

  20. Jamel Achahbar says:

Assalaamu’aleykum. I am a 4th semester student and i can say that the one who threads the path of seeking knowledge
should first check his intention. Are we really seeking knowledge for the sake of Allah?
And like imam Ahmad(raHimahoellAh) said:The correct niyyaa is to intend to raise ignorance off oneself and from others.

This is an advice to myself first and foremost.

I have been here for almost a year and a lot of things have changed in my personal life. I started the course not knowing where this path would take me but as i strived and struggled to continue, it got clear to me that this is the path one should tread to get to Jannah. As the seeker of knowledge is not only benefitting himself but also his family and friends, his close circle of influence and it goes on. And insha’Allah with the correct niyya maybe Allah can accept this as a SaDaQa jaariyya from our teacher and all of us.
As our teacher said Each One Teach One. The Fiks is a garden house and we all start as little seeds that grow to become plants untill we are strong enough to leave the gardenhouse to become trees and benefit others.

I had come accross a lot of courses on the net and followed some testcourses checked them out and to be honest and this is not to boast, i found abu taubahs method of teaching much more accessible and detailed, leaving no pebbles unturned, wallAhoe a’lem. I really believe that if you guys keep strong and get rid of distractions as much as you can, and at least spend one hour a day studying memorizing and arranging your notes your situation will change insha’allah.
Forget about naysayers,i heard this and that and do not be demotivated by critics and people that will try to hinder you in your path, as they always existed and this is part of our test insha’Allah. Do not fall for the plot of shayTaan for his plot is weak. It is really only you that stop you from getting where you want to get!! and remember If Allah wants good for someone he gives him the proper understanding of the deen. May Allah make us all from those insha’Allah and i hope by his mercy to stay on this path and finish this course and memorize His book. Keep struggling and you will get there.
I am motivating myself at the same time here!!

    Asalaamu Alaikum

I have enrolled in the Women’s Only Fiqh class and I live in Canada. I am very excited to learn. The amount of time of the course fits with my schedule, and the learning level seems to be challenging but not impossible for me. In my city all the English classes are for new converts, but I’ve been a Muslim for 14 years Alhamdulilleh and have learned more than just the basics. I have focused on teaching for years, and I homeschool and teach at a weekend Islamic school, and am ready and motivated now to focus on my own education, to enhance and improve the lessons I teach. May Allah bless this school, this website, the teachers and administration, and the students with guidance, provision to maintain the classes and the motivation in the hearts to be consistent and successful, Ameen.

  22. Umm Hafsa- Cairo says:

Masha’allah, I am very excited to be a part of the FIKS family and begin to benefit from the courses that are being offered, alhamdulillah. I started out with the tajweed course utilizing the videos that were being posted and I learned a lot, but I had to stop in the middle and I was very disappointed. At the time I had made a major move to make Hijrah from the US to Egypt so with that came a lot of work, coming to Egypt alone with my son and trying to forge a life here for myself and my family. Everything is going smoothly now wal hamdulillah. I have a job here and we are settling in. But in the back of my mind was the nagging and disappointment of not being able to study due to the work that I have to do to support my family, teaching and tutoring almost everyday. When I saw the Women’s class open up it was a ray of light for me. I pray Allah give us all the success and increase us all in beneficial knowledge….ameen. As a side note, I looked back at my notes the other day and these were notes I had taken over a year ago and subhana’allah we had covered so much and most of it I could remember like yesterday. The classes are definitely worth the effort, my notes alone are like a goldmine of knowledge and benefit. Barakallahu Feekum May Allah bless Abu Taubah and his family with the highest Jannah and be pleased with them in this life and the hereafter ameen.
